Slip Lead Leashes for Dogs -- powered by ehow

If you are on the go with your pack in tow like me most days, you might want to consider a slip lead leash for dogs.  Why?  Because they are quick and easy.  A collar and leash all in one.

Slip lead leashes are a great item to store in your car, take to the beach, dog park and even on daily walks.  You never know when you might have a need for another leash.  I mean, how many times have you tried to wrangle a leash to your dog’s collar while they were trying to escape from the car?

Now, slip lead leashes are sold everywhere and in the video I demonstrate with a slip leash from RuffWear.  I like the Just a Cinch leash in particular because it has a comfortable handle and is made with sturdy material. It also has a silicone slider to provide more of a customized fit.

If you don’t want to spend money on a slip lead leash, you can always transform one of your dog’s current leashes.  See the demo above.

Although I would never use this as my everyday leash (some people do however) Ican’t tell you how handy having an extra leash in my son’s stroller is on our walks.  We have been able to help lost dogs get home safe and keep them out of traffic on our way!
